Just one of those…

I don’t feel like my parents adequately prepared me for this thing we called life. As much as I feel like I wasn’t sheltered, I didn’t know how they did it. What was going through their minds when their parents died and they were under attack from the extended family? What problem solving skills were used when my mother was falsely accussed of something on her job and had to get her victory in court? Not to mention, how they handled the constant fighting between me and my siblings without sending us off to boarding school or juvenile detention. How do you off set a potential breakdown?
